About Dr. Cleaveland
I graduated magna cum laude from Stetson University with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology in 1989. I entered graduate school at Virginia Tech that same year, earning a Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology. After an internship at the Medical University of South Carolina, I earned my PhD in Clinical Psychology in 1995 and completed a post-doctoral fellowship in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, also at MUSC.
I started my private practice in 1995. Although board certification isn’t typical for psychologists, I’m board-certified in Clinical Psychology by the American Board of Professional Psychology (ABPP) and a fellow of the American Academy of Clinical Psychologists. I’m also listed on the National Register of Health Service Psychologists.
I live in Park Circle with my husband and family, along with two lovely cats. I enjoy serving my community on government and organization boards and commissions.
